About MedQuiry

A scoring standard for medical research credibility.

Medical studies are abundant, uneven in quality, and often amplified without context. MedQuiry exists to fill a gap that journals, databases, and headlines do not — a structured way to assess how research was conducted, independent of what it promotes.

Transparency

Every score includes a plain‑language explanation of what raised or lowered it. Re‑scoring history is clearly visible.

Neutrality

MedQuiry applies the same eight‑domain rubric to every study.

Rigor

Only the full text of a published study is scored. Abstracts generally don’t disclose the methodological characteristics that MedQuiry measures, without which a study’s credibility cannot be ascertained. MedQuiry therefore does not score abstracts.

What MedQuiry will never do

· Suggest a treatment or prescription.

· Tell a clinician which option to choose for a patient.

· Claim that a study establishes a clinical fact.

· Score abstracts, editorials, or scans of pages.

· Publish blacklists of journals or authors.
